Graceful Aging

Participants gain practical knowledge of dietary and exercise recommendations supported by scientific research related to aging. This course combines education, movement, and individual and group coaching, giving participants the opportunity to design their own plan for healthy aging. The educational component focuses on topics such as:

  • Physical, physiological, and mental changes associated with aging

  • How to address those changes

  • Nutrition

  • The effects of various exercises on these processes.

 

The movement section of the class varies each time and introduces participants to the basics of cardio, mobility, and flexibility exercises, core and balance, as well as strength training.

  • Adults 50+ or those interested in the topic of healthy aging

  • All fitness levels
